Sheep farming is good in Uganda due to the favourable climate and availability of enough good pastures. Itungo pastures is now promoting rearing sheep commercial scale because , sheep farming is easy to manage, as they grow very fast, disease resistant, easy to feed meaning with just silage and hay , a famer is good to go. The mutton is tender and juicy and multiplied very fast.
