Juncao Chinese Grass

Juncao (or “fungus grass“) is a hybrid grass and a multi-functional Chinese technology that uses it to grow mushrooms and other fungi without wood, reducing deforestation. It also serves as high-protein animal fodder for livestock, preventing soil erosion, and even for producing fiberboard, paper, and bioenergy. Developed in China, this “magic grass” is now used in over 100 countries to alleviate poverty, combat food insecurity, and promote climate change adaptation.
